Institutions that accept the IELTS scores

IELTS is recognised by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is also recognised by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.


Different Versions of IELTS

1. Paper Based
2. Computer Based

There are two formats of IELTS

1. Academic
2. General Training


Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses are based on the results of academic modules.

General Training is for candidates who are going to English speaking countries 

to complete their Secondary education

to undertake work experience or training programmes not at degree level

for immigration purposes.

 

Where Can I take the test?

IELTS tests are administered at centres throughout the world –
there are nearly 300 centres, in over 100 countries. A full list of
centres is available on the IELTS website.

The General Training module is not offered at all test administrations.

 

Procedure

Downlaod an information and registration form from the IELTS website.

Register for the test online or offline.

Obtain other books and products to practice.

Take the test.

The fee for IELTs in India is 6,500 Rs.
